Weekly Discussion Topic:
First of all sorry for the delay of this post, but our staff members were busy yesterday.
This weeks topic will be whether America should pull its troops out of Afghanistan or stay and establish a stronger foothold.
Background Information: American soldiers in Iraq have mostly been withdrawn, except a small security task force tasked with training the Iraq army. Since the major withdrawal, Al Qaeda has regained formerly lost territory, and has ambushed American troops. Today an American General was killed while at an Iraq Military Academy by a disguised Al Qaeda assailant. Is it worth it to continue being there, or should we wage another costly war?
-Feel free to comment, the Open Floor Debate is Tomorrow from 2:00pm-11:55pm.
