If you’ve got 30 minutes this weekend, why not clean out that winter box and donate some gear to the community? All sizes are welcome!! We have delivery options in Moneta, Lynchburg & Madison Heights for your convenience!

The coat drive is up and running for one month. If you have any gently used coats, scarves, or gloves, please donate them. These are for men, women, and children. They will be distributed by the Agape centers of Lynchburg, and Moneta. There are drop of points at HCW shop, Iron & Clover Motorcycle Mercantile, and Harley Davidson of Lynchburg.

25 years | For those of us old enough to remember September 11, 2001, there are moments from that day that will probably never leave us.

We remember where we were, and the fear and confusion of watching the events unfold in real-time.

We remember the lives lost, the thousands injured, the people who ran toward the devastation, those who received orders to deploy, and the Americans who chose to enlist in the days and months that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we honor them, and every life that was forever changed that day.

I know it's hot out *right now*, but we're not in the habit of waiting until the last minute, so let's get that winter gear out to make sure our community and neighbors are warm this winter!! The drive is only 4 weeks, so be sure to drop those donations off early!

HCW along with Iron & Clover Motorcycle Mercantile and V²M - The Veteran Magazine will be collectiong coats and winter goods such as gloves and scarves for Agape of Lynchburg and Moneta Beging Saturday Sept 3rd. Drop off points are HCW shop, I&C, and Harley Davidson of Lynchburg. Please help if you can.

Tee Marie Hanible, USMC, was featured in this edition, and unfortunately, we misspelled her last name on the cover, and didn't catch it in time before publication. 😫

We sincerely apologize to Tee for the error. We've corrected the digital edition and our online cover artwork to make sure her name is represented correctly moving forward.

And most importantly, we're incredibly grateful to Tee for allowing us to share her story.

What a great symposium by Mission Roll Call yesterday! It was very inspiring to meet other organizations dedicated to improving services and meeting the challenges that our Veterans face. So many great ideas were shared, relationships started, and collaborative plans made. We're already looking forward to the next one!
