V²M - The Veteran Magazine V²M is an independent publication connecting Gen X, Millennial, and older Veterans. Privately owned, community-driven, and politics-free.

This magazine is more than just stories; it’s a tribute to the sacrifices, resilience, and camaraderie that define our Veteran community. With deep personal ties to military service, we understand the pride, challenges, and bonds that come with serving. We believe strongly in showing our appreciation through action. That’s why we are committed to donating 10% of each month’s proceeds to a Virginia

nonprofit; ensuring that the organizations supporting our heroes receive the recognition and resources they deserve.

Make your voice count. Mission Roll Call takes your answers to the Hill where it matters!

Which type of support outside the healthcare system would you be most likely to participate in? That is one of the questions our June survey asks.

We know that veterans don’t spend most of their lives inside healthcare systems. They spend it at work, at home, in their communities, around the people and routines that shape their everyday lives.

That’s why this survey explores what helps veterans maintain stability after service. We are listening to what actually helps you stay stable after your service.

We want you to say what matters.

Make your voice count. Take this short and fast (only 5 question) survey: https://missionrollcall.org/veteran-voices-survey/

In the January edition of V²M, we featured Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living (CVACL) in the Allies in Action section. There comes a point where a lot of people find themselves navigating things they never expected; caregiving, mobility challenges, medical appointments, helping aging parents, or trying to figure out what support even exists in the first place.

That’s why organizations like the CVACL matter so much. They help older adults, caregivers, and adults with disabilities connect with services and support that allow them to live independently, safely, and with dignity, and they’ve been serving Central Virginia for decades.

Definitely worth checking out for yourself, a parent, neighbor, or someone you care about!

Today, on National Poppy Day, wear a red poppy to honor the fallen and support the living. ❤️

The red poppy speaks where words fall short — a silent tribute to the sacrifices made for our freedom by the heroes who served and died for our country in all wars. ❤️‍🩹 The poppy is a reminder that their courage will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

After World War I, the American Legion Family brought National Poppy Day® to the United States by asking Congress to designate the Friday before Memorial Day as National Poppy Day.

The Auxiliary promotes the poppy as a symbol of the sacrifices our military have made, a symbol to open people’s hearts and inspire them to donate to help support the future of veterans, servicemembers, and their families. 🇺🇸

Today, on National Poppy Day, wear a red poppy to honor the fallen and support the living. ❤️
