How beautiful is this "Heimathafen" (home port) sweater by Isabell Kraemer at Sheep Shack!?!? This top down shirt is written for long sleeves with a pretty dip stitch stripe (no colorwork; you only work with one yarn at a time). I used "Zooey" by Juniper Moon Farm and added Lana Gatto "Paillettes" for some bling. And I went with short sleeves instead of following the pattern for long sleeves. Both yarns are available in many colors in the shop. . All my notes and links can be found in comments. Ready to cast on your Heimathafen ?

Here, at Yarns in Brentwood, TN., Bennett is wearing The Florence Sweater - designed by the talented Elenor Mortensen.
I can remember when she wouldn’t wear a thing I made. Thankfully, she outgrew that…and now loves to have all the handknits by mom. 🩷 Doesn't Bennet look absolutely fabulous!?!?

Join us for a Knit-A-Long!
We're thrilled to announce the"Fall For Fission" Juniper Moon Farm x Mary Martin KAL!

It's nearly time for gift giving season, and the Fall for Fission scarf will make for an amazing homemade present! Fission Knitting is an innovative technique created by designer Mary Martin.

The pattern calls for two skeins of JMF's Herriot Fine in contrasting colors. For participants who finish by the deadline, there will be a prize drawing with some goodies from Juniper Moon Farm, LYKKE Crafts & Knitting Fever and Euro Yarns.

I've just been flat out! Long, busy days that have absorbed my week, but, here we are, it's Saturday and I have time for a quick knit share, since I was last here.

The front and back are done, shoulder seams are in, and we are working on the neckband now.

The colours are so vivid, it's going to make a stunning summer evening top.
