DJ Tyranny

Spinning EBM, darkwave, synth pop, industrial, post-punk, goth, and more since 2002, DJ Tyranny has spun tunes from Manhattan to Long Island as a Nocturnal Creatures resident (Dead of Winter, Dark Thanksgiving, Monster’s Ball, etc..), with regular sets at Metasin, and as a guest for parties including Stimulate, WLIR Ringside G’s, Detour, Fixe, Lotus, Berlin and has even DJ’d for California’s Santa Cruz Mountains Music & Film Festival 2025.

This dark holiday season, ShadowPlay is calling. As we prepare for December 20th, we’re shining a spotlight on the DJs who’ll be keeping the floor moving all night...

Kamikaze Tomato

has carved out a distinct place in the dark music underground since 2021. Known for blending goth, darkwave, and industrial with precision and edge, they reignite the underground with a seamless mix of beloved classics and cutting-edge dark sounds.

In 2024, they launched , Long Island’s only monthly dark dance night, created to fill the long-standing void of a monthly dark alternative event.

Also a resident DJ at Ian Ford's and the horror themed , Kamikaze Tomato has also brought their shadow-drenched sound to QXTs, The Red Party, Dark DecaDance, and other dark scene NYC area events.

After ShadowPlay, you can catch her on Long Island again on January 17 for Sanctified at AMH.
