So much to unpack, but the Copperhead track and field teams are sending a sizable contingent to Missoula next week for the Class B State meet. Anaconda crowned champions Jade Moses (400), SheaLee Novak (3200), Juliette Evans (Discus) and Ryder Anderson (Triple Jump) along with a slew of other place winners.

The Copperhead girls took home third place as a team and the boys finished fourth.

What a day for the Copperhead tennis teams! The boys won the Southwestern B/C divisional played in Washoe Park today. Below are the individual place winners.

Copperhead softball hosts the Western B/C divisional tournament at Charlotte Yeoman Martin Sports Complex. Anaconda starts with MAC at 3pm. Unfortunately, postseason softball will not be broadcast. We apologize for not being able to attend. Good luck ladies!

A little extended details concerning Anaconda’s third place finish at State. It was the first Top-3 finish for the Copperhead girls since 2013.

Junior Logan McKay has now earned All-State honors four straight years, finishing 12th, 9th, 2nd and 3rd, in her eighth grade season to yesterday, respectively. Those outstanding accomplishments place her on top of the pedestal of girls’ golf at AHS.

Thanks to Anaconda head coach Mark Torney for the history lesson (and the photo of Brittany, Julia, Alex and Emily with the 2013 trophy)!

The Copperhead girls golf team brought home some hardware from Billings! Anaconda finished third behind Class B champs Lone Peak and Florence in second. Logan McKay earned another All State finish coming in third. Lylee Sayers also earned All State honors tying for 14th place. The team consisted of McKay, Sayers, Quincy Saltenberger, Grace Galle and Avery Nielsen.
