Maine, you’re truly like a postcard 😍😍

Our first couples trip with my BIL & SIL, and what a special few days it was. We explored Portland and Bar Harbor, road-tripped along the coast, and made our way through Camden and Rockport to pay tribute to Andre the Seal, who called that harbor home. 🦭

We ate a lot of lobster (as one does in Maine 😂), and our favorites were Luke’s Lobster by Portland Head Light and The Reading Room at Bar Harbor Inn. We sailed into the sunset with Portland Schooner Co., wandered through charming coastal towns, and fell completely in love with Bar Harbor.

Acadia was the highlight. 🌲☀️ We caught sunrise at Cadillac Mountain (don’t forget your reservation!), walked along Sand Beach, listened to the waves at Thunder Hole, and visited Bass Harbor Head Light. Next time, the Beehive hike is happening! 😉

And while Maine was beautiful, the best part was experiencing it together. We’re so grateful for our village who loved on our kids while we were away. They had the best time with their grandparents and cousins, and we got to make memories we’ll treasure for a long time. 🤍

❤️❤️

If you’re thinking about taking your kids to ’s concert, do it. 🤍

Watching our girls sing every word with their hands raised in worship is a moment I’ll never forget. I didn’t expect to get so emotional, but experiencing a night centered on Jesus together as a family was incredibly special 😭

Sweet Eloise felt God tugging on her heart and decided to sponsor a child using her own allowance money. Watching her respond with such generosity and compassion made this mama so proud 🥹

Praying this generation continues to know Jesus, love others deeply, and boldly live out their faith.

✨ Portland Roundup:
⛪️ Bridgetown Church
🥟 Din Tai Fung - the chocolate steamed buns are a must 🤤
🍽️ Canard for dinner -Gogo loved those Steam burgers
🏨 Crowne Plaza Portland – Downtown Convention Center (just a 10-minute walk to the Moda Center)

One of the biggest perks of booking a Tokyo Disney Vacation Package is that so much of your park day is planned in advance.

Our package included 3 Disney Premier Passes per park day, which we selected when we booked.

Tokyo Disneyland:
✨ Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast
💛 The Happy Ride with Baymax
🌊 Splash Mountain

Tokyo DisneySea:
❄️ Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey
🦎 Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival
🧚 Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure

We also reserved all of our dining ahead of time.

Disneyland Day
🍳 Breakfast at our hotel
🍱 Lunch at Hokusai
🐭 Dinner at Chef Mickey at the Ambassador Hotel. We love Chef Mickey’s at Walt Disney World, so we were excited to try it here. It was fun to meet Mickey, but the food wasn’t our favorite.

DisneySea Day
🍳 Breakfast at our hotel
🦆 Lunch at Snuggly Duckling
🏰 Dinner at the Royal Banquet of Arendelle

Since we visited during the 40th Anniversary celebration, we also received an extra priority pass each day. We used ours for:
🍯 Pooh’s Hunny Hunt at Disneyland
🐠 Nemo & Friends SeaRider at DisneySea

Hope these were helpful. If you have any questions, comment them below.

Tokyo, what an adventure. 🇯🇵✨

We packed so much into our time here, wandering vibrant streets, discovering iconic landmarks, trying experiences we never imagined, and eating our way through some of the best food we’ve ever had. Every corner held something new to explore.

But more than anything, our favorite part was meeting the people. Everyone we encountered was so kind, welcoming, and gracious, making this trip even more special. 🌸🌸
