🦕 What if we told you one of Disneyland’s most iconic scenes didn’t actually debut at Disneyland? 🤯

Before the dinosaurs of Primeval World became a beloved part of the Disneyland Railroad, they first roared to life at the 1964–65 New York World’s Fair aboard the legendary Ford Magic Skyway.

🚗 Guests actually rode in real Ford vehicles that traveled along a winding elevated roadway, passing through scenes that celebrated the future of transportation before descending into a prehistoric world filled with life-sized Audio-Animatronic dinosaurs. The attraction welcomed millions of visitors during the World’s Fair and showcased technology that would forever change Disney theme parks.

When the fair ended, Walt Disney saved many of the dinosaurs and relocated them to Disneyland, where they continue to delight guests decades later aboard the Disneyland Railroad.
