There’s something so special about taking a break from the rides and stepping into Animation Academy at Disney California Adventure. ✨🎨

If you’ve never been, Animation Academy is a free, instructor-led drawing class where Disney artists teach you how to draw one beloved Disney or Pixar character step by step. Every class features a different character, so you never know who you’ll get!

Today we were so excited to draw Lightning McQueen for our boys, and it made the sweetest keepsake to bring home. ❤️⚡️ It’s one of our favorite hidden gems in the park! Air-conditioned, relaxing, fun for all ages, and you leave with your very own Disney artwork.

If you’re visiting Disney California Adventure, don’t skip this experience. You might just discover your inner animator! ✏️🏁

This sweet treat is one of those hidden gems that isn’t always available, making it even more exciting when you spot it! A fresh, juicy pineapple spear dipped in rich dark chocolate is the perfect mix of sweet, tart, and refreshing, especially on a hot Disney day.

If you’re on the hunt, check Candy Palace on Main Street, Pooh Corner, Trolley Treats, or Wonderful World of Sweets in Downtown Disney. Just remember: it’s a seasonal snack, so if you find one, don’t wait!

There’s so much to do with toddlers at Disneyland! ✨ In fact, there are more rides with no height requirement than rides that have one, so even the littlest Disney fans can have an unforgettable day.

A perfect (and very hot ☀️🥵) Disney afternoon with my toddler.

Crazy heat = low wait times.
Low wait times = happy toddler.
Happy toddler = happy mama. ❤️

There’s nothing better than making memories at the happiest place on earth with my thrill-seeking, hilarious, sweet, and wonderfully wild little boy. Watching Disney through his eyes is pure magic.

(What you didn’t see… the very dramatic meltdown over not being tall enough for Thunder Mountain. 😂🫣 One day, buddy!)
