While this build has a great final product, it was probably the most frustrating experience I’ve had with building something.

The instructions were unclear and often the wrong color, and the build as a whole was super finicky because of how you can remove the modules. Because of that nothing is really anchored in, so everything tends to just fall off (as evidenced by the last picture when I was moving it to take these pictures.

I will say the technique with the rubber bands, and the stickers for it were top notch!

As a big NASA fan and someone who’s trying to get more into technic, this was a really rough experience. So hopefully the next build goes more smoothly.

We had a fun time building Marie on Twitch a while back, but I thought it would be fun to take some pictures of her with Kitty (who adored Marie 😂)

I was pleasantly surprised to see The Aristocats as a LEGO theme because of how much older it is. Overall the build was fun, although Marie is a bit top heavy which makes posing her a little challenging. I absolutely love her big bow, and could see using it as an accessory for myself though!

Super excited to start working on the next LEGO Art set: Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilles, by Claude Monet!

I’ve gotten to see some of the water lily paintings in person, but not the specific painting at the . From the box the colors aren’t quite as pastel as the original, but I’m excited to listen to the podcast that’s paired with it for the build experience!

I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of only having ball/socket pieces in grey!!! Who’s with me with wanting a wider variety of colors for more realistic builds 🙋🏻‍♀️
