I tried the vegan option at Carnation Cafe in 2016 and sadly… I did not like it 😱 Ten years is a long time to avoid something, so I went BACK to Carnation Cafe for lunch so I could reasses. 🌞

All around I was very pleasantly surprised! I’m not sure if the actual dish changed or if I changed as a PERSON, but the bottom line is I have changed my mind about Carnation Cafe!

The salad was simple but very tasty, the sandwich was very satisfying, and the brownie sundae was literally perfect. Better than perfect ‼️

Have you tried the plant-based items at Carnation Cafe? I would love to know what everyone thinks! 🥗

P.S. my camera died after I had the sandwich so the brownie part of the video is shorter and with a different camera 🤓 🫶✨

The Little Town Harvest Bowl is simply fries topped with some arugula and veggies, which sounds... interesting. HOWEVER! I dare say... I liked it?? 🍄🌱🍟

I cannot lie, I think it is not a bad dish. 🍽️

The fries were crispy and I thought the veggies were tasty! It also has quinoa which I always enjoy 🤓 The plant-based aioli was flavorful and a good amount as well. ✨

Is it the BEST option for vegans at Disneyland? The answer is... nar. But is it actually secretly maybe kind of good? The answer is... I think so 😂

I was also quite hungry when I went to Red Rose Tavern so maybe that is affecting my opinion 🤔🥀

Have you tried this before? What do YOU think of this? Personally I think it’s good, but I would love to have a plant-based option from Red Rose Tavern with a lil more vegan pizaz ✨

Save this for your next trip to Joshua Tree! The Happiest Vegan on Earth has found a great spot for a vegan bite! Highly recommend The Dez if you are in the area ✨🌵🥪
