ACCOUNT UPDATE šŸ’š

It’s been ten wonderful years of this page, and we’re all so grateful for the amazing community and resource that Lisa has created here. ✨

After so many special memories, vegan finds, and years spent building this *happy place*, Lisa is stepping into a new life chapter and has chosen to pass along this page to someone she trusts to continue to post with care. 🫶

And now, for a little introduction… HELLO EVERYONE! I’m Lauren! 😊

Like I shared in the video, I’ve been following this account for a long time and I’m so excited to continue sharing vegan options at Disneyland. I’m so grateful that Lisa trusted me to continue something she’s built with so much love, and I promise to do my very best to bring you all the tasty treats and Disney magic I can find! ✨

If you see me in the parks, come say hi! And if there’s anything you’d like to see featured on the page, let me know. šŸŽ

Feel free to leave Lisa some love in the comments for everything she’s shared over the years. On behalf of both of us, we’re glad you’re all here! 🌱

New flavors for February have arrived at  in Downtown Disney! 🄳

My review of the new vegan flavor, Cocoa Nib Root Beer Float (v)

This one was so fun and satisfying! Much creamier and more luscious than an average sorbet, in my opinion. I'll definitely be getting it again this month!!Ā

I ordered it in a cone here (a sugar cone, aka kid's cone). This one is vegan, while the waffle cone (the larger one) contains egg. You can also order your scoop in a cup, which is what I usually do, but I felt like a cone today!Ā

I give the Cocoa Nib Root Beer Float flavor an 8/10. It is very very good, but it's hard to live up to the Chocolate Pistachio from last month that is so fresh in my memory! That one was a 10/10. I hope that one makes a return at some point!

The Salt & Straw menu description ofĀ Cocoa Nib Root Beer Float (v):

"For over 10 years, San Francisco’s Dandelion Chocolate has made it their mission to showcase single-origin cacao, experimenting with every step from bean-to-bar. It was this spirit of experimentation that first inspired their recipe for cocoa nib root beer—a twist that perfectly blends cacao’s earthy bitterness and root beer’s bright, spicy sweetness. Sassafras, mint, and clove meet bittersweet Ugandan cacao nibs in a botanical, cocoa-kissed tonic that we spin into a velvety sorbet. And because more chocolate is always better, we fold in a ribbon of their Ecuadorian single-origin 70% dark chocolate fudge for an extra-rich finish."

Have you tried this one yet? What did you think?
