I sit here watching the sun Fall into the glorious Buena Vista Street from the Balcony of the Carthay Circle restaurant, while sipping on a glass of Rose Petal Soda. Yes you read that correctly. It’s a sparkling soda infused with delicate rose essence and garnished with an edible sugar glazed rose petal. I am joined by five other guests which would give us the opportunity to sample each other’s Appetizers while conversing about daily life. Our conversations are accompanied by the faint laughter and talking from excited guests below and the passing of the Buena vista street Trolley’s cruising by. First up was two baskets of the House Biscuits. These are filled with Cheddar cheese, Jalapeño’s and bacon along with a Mustard dipping sauce. Next were the Signature Fire Cracker Duck Wings with soy, lime, and sriracha chili sauce. The main course finally makes its debut on my table as two Grilled Quail’s stuffed with Prosciutto wrapped peaches, Peach salsa, Haricot Verts and Almond Vinaigrette. I must say they tasted amazing. After all that was scarfed down I had the opportunity to try one of the decadent desserts cleverly named “Peaches in All Their Glory”. Two peach and white chocolate mousse Cannolis served with fresh grilled peaches and peach Sorbet. Small but amazing! I would rate everything a four out of five stars on Taste. Atmosphere gets a Five stars hands down!
