The Idiot Sandwich is now a real thing at Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby in Downtown Disney 😂🥪

The Carnaby recently started serving lunch, with two lunch-exclusive menu items: the Idiot Sandwich and the Prawn Cocktail Roll.

I tried the Idiot Sandwich for $24, made with a thrice-fried chicken breast, G.F.C. sauce, dill pickles and a toasted brioche bun, with your choice of fries or salad.

The chicken was really moist, the bun was toasted perfectly, and the G.F.C. sauce was very good — it’s the same sauce they use on the G.F.C. Chicken Wings appetizer, which I already loved. The portion size also felt just right for a lunch sandwich.

The fries were fine, but nothing particularly special — they’re the same fries served with other entrées like the burger and fish & chips.

Overall, I’d definitely order it again.

Here is everything we ate at the new Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby restaurant in Downtown Disney. I was lucky enough to join a friend who was invited to try the new restaurant. The restaurant treated the table to a few appetizers and drinks and we paid for the rest. I added my rating to everything I tried!

Drinks:
Peach & Basil Old Fashioned
Tea & Whiskey

Appetizers:
Parker Rolls
Pea Guacamole
G.F.C. Chicken Wings
Waldorf Salad Salad (Sample)

Entrees:
Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips
Beef Wellington
Cottage Pie

Dessert:
Sticky Toffee Pudding

I enjoyed everything and will definitely be back!

Did anyone else notice they removed the Parmesan Toasted Patty Melt from Carnation Cafe at Disneyland? They replaced it with the Carnation Cafe Burger (which was removed in January). The patty melt was there since 2021.
