We know I’m a bit(2 months a bit) late for hubby’s birthday post, BUT what they don’t know… is how excited and cheesy I am about experiencing another birthday with you as your wife. What they also don’t know… is how you make me feel. How you create calm in my chaos and inspire me to be better while still admiring me for who I am.
I don’t know how we got here or how I got lucky enough to experience the light at the end of the dark WITH YOU, but I’m here. I’m proud of you for pushing yourself to be uncomfortable this year. I’m proud of you for overcoming things that would’ve been easier to ignore, even when your own happiness came at a cost. I’m proud of you for choosing the hard things so you can be better for us, and for holding everyone else’s hand when you really could’ve used someone holding yours.
What they also don’t know, because they haven’t gotten the chance to meet you, is how generous, selfless, and safe you are. We get to be “just girls” and “boys being boys” because of who you are and how you love us.
I love you forever and ever (ever sounds a little too long, but hey, if I make it there, I’d like to be with you). Happy 27th birthday two months ago, you handsome ******** cutie ***!
