It's happening!! I finally have created a creative writing club!!

I notice on instagram everyone talks about how excited they are...listen for it. You can never unhear it now that I have said that. Anyways, I mean it...I genuinely mean it. I....AM...SO...EXCITED for this new class!! It is like a work dream come true!

This class is held once weekly. You can sign up for all the classes, or just one, or maybe a few of them. It is totally up to you.

NEW CLASSES! That is right, I have two more months before I take a break from this fun business that I like to call Story Nook, and boy do I have some exciting things planned!

I got a little something for all school-aged children listed below:

--The creative writers write a skit! In this three-week class, we will create a skit together, rehearse, record, and perform....phew! It is going to be a fast-paced class where each student will get to work on their character development skills.

Dates: December 5 - December 21st, 2022. Held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1pm.
Price: $105
--Calling all Little Adventures! Come join the Jack Book Club. Jack is a hilarious rabbit who always finds himself in a tight spot. What will happen to Jack this time? Sign up to find out.

These beginner chapter books are an excellent way to get your young reader excited about literary adventures.

Dates: December 6th - December 20th, 2022. Held on Tuesdays at 12pm

My husband and I got invited to attend a special training, which will take us out of state beginning of February. This means for these last few months I will be busy hosting classes and tutoring in-between packing, and cleanning.

I am very excited about this new adventure but I will really miss all the little kiddos that have invited me into their learning tribes. I still have time if you are interested in private group classes or would like to set up some tutoring sessions, let me know before I jet off!

Alright (said with lots of nervous feelings of excitement for the future😬), I can not wait to work with you parents and your kiddos these next few months and make November, December, and January AWESOME!

Do you live out in the Mat-Su valley? If so, I am heading your way! I am going to be hosting an in-person 3-day workshop on skits.

--Class Details--
Students will work on their writing through games, quick writing exercises, and create a skit together. We will discuss the basics of writing a skit, brainstorm ideas for setting, plot, characters, and discuss character development and the story arc. This fun, fast paced class will end with a performance on the last day!

The Creative Writers will be discussing the importance of writing. Participating in a quick writing exercise and getting a sneak peek into the upcoming classes for this school year. This class is best for ages 7 and up.

--The Little Adventurers "Journey to school".--🏫👨‍🏫👩‍🏫
For some little ones, this will be their first experience going to school. Feelings of the unknown can make some students nervous😳, while others are thrilled and cannot wait to go to school😊. The format of this class helps the little ones learn how to write✍️, listen👂, and communicate🗣️. All projects will be based on their "journey to school." In this class we will talk about things that happen when you are in school, read story books about school, and if time allows at the end of each class we will have show and tell.

--The Creative Writers explore "Poetry".--✍️
Poetry is a great way to get your child excited about language arts. This class will cover different types of poetry, such as acrostic, haiku, limerick, and free verse. As we explore the different styles, each student will create their own masterpiece. At the end of the class, students can invite their friends and family to watch🎥 a final performance.

We are going to be drinking tea and discussing etiquette. I have been wanting to do a class like this for a long time (if you have seen my reels lately you have probably seen my obsession with Emily Post) I have taken a deep dive into etiquette, and I am eager to share what I have learned with your little kiddos.
