Q: “What is your favorite part about writing a book?”

A: “It may sound funny but it is when I write The End and not at all because I am finished but rather because 1, I will miss the characters so it’s saying good bye but 2, the feeling that my characters (who have been wandering in my head for a long time, sometimes years) have said all they need to say at this moment in time. They may be back but The End means for now they have accomplished what they set out to do.”

Some houses hold more than history — they hold stories that refuse to stay silent.

In The Memories of Walls, Bruce revisits a haunting piece of his own childhood. Growing up in a white wooden house just east of Kokomo, Indiana, he and his siblings experienced more than a few unexplained events… all connected to a locked room at the top of the stairs.

According to his eldest brother, an apparition of an angry old woman watched over that attic — and she wasn’t pleased when her belongings were disturbed. The house is long gone now, replaced by a modern home. But the memories remain, and the questions linger:

What secrets were hidden in those walls? And why did they stay behind when the family moved on? This story blends personal history, mystery, and the quiet echoes of a place that left its mark.

📖 The Memories of Walls is now available.

The Final Chapter of the Mike Reed Saga

Mike Reed, now in his late forties, travels with his family to Israel to investigate whether the ancient Temple once stood in the City of David rather than on the traditional Temple Mount. But while they search for answers using modern tools like LIDAR, a powerful financier pushes a radical group toward destroying the Dome of the Rock — for reasons far more dangerous than ideology.

With prophecy, archaeology, and geopolitical tension converging, Oh, Jerusalem brings the Mike Reed Saga to a powerful close. 📖 Available on Amazon.

Long before Bruce became an author, he was a sixth-grader inspired by the adventure story Men of Iron. That early spark — and the encouragement of his teacher — set the course for a lifetime of writing.

His first book, Eagle River Homestead, grew from that same spirit of discovery and perseverance.
