It’s crazy to say this as a new Las Vegas resident, but I feel that for the economy to correct its course, people need to stop visiting the Strip.

Come to Las Vegas and see all the other things the city has to offer—because trust me, there’s more than just the Strip.

The Strip is controlled by corporate billionaires who care only about profits, not the consumer. They’ve laid off thousands of workers, jacked up prices, and are slowly losing. The Strip needs to crash and reset. I feel like it’s already happening and will continue to do so.

Come see the rest of Las Vegas. There are great casinos off the Strip—Durango, South Point, and Silverton (my favorite) if you’re looking for a casino experience. But Las Vegas also has incredible food spots for foodies and plenty of places to enjoy nature if you’re the outdoorsy type.

Also, if you’ve been watching the housing market over the past year. You will notice that Las Vegas home sellers got cocky and overpriced their homes. So they’ve been dropping their prices CONSISTENTLY for the last year.

My dream is to have LV as the next Mecca for kone Lao. I urge every young Lao person to do their research into the economy, look for a job and move to LV. There is room for everyone here in every job market.

LV will be the next stop for cultural preservation for Lao Americans.

Great time meeting up with Arlene and Jenny at Euy Fridays event at C3!

We yapped for a good 45 min about the Lao community here in Las Vegas. Can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for us! Watch out LV here we come.

I got to meet other members in our community too. I’m making friends! Teehee.

Hello family and friends!

It appears that one of the monks who was doing the walk for peace across America was hit by a car and lost his leg. Unfortunately, he has accrued a lot of medical debt. Would you be so kind as to help by donating or sharing this post?

Some have asked why the other driver isn’t responsible? I dont know the exact circumstances surrounding the incident. However, I do know that sometimes people drive without insurance and sometimes insurance will pay out so much.

What is also a fact, is that the monk lost his leg and will have to probably have other feeds to pay like possiblt a prosthetic leg, or other medical expenses.
