Guess who is tossing all these shipped eggs instead of putting them into lockdown tonight 😭 only one developed with a detached air sac that I know for sure, two backcrossed olives are too dark to see for sure so they’re going in anyways. But I took a gamble and lost big time 😭😭😭 I did everything right. They arrived in three days in perfect condition. Let them rest at room temp. Left the turner off for about four or five days, only candled once and what I saw was not good but I said it’s early, I’ll candle again at lockdown, I’ve had some develop later. But I’m so disappointed, no more shipped eggs for me for awhile, my heart can’t take the loss! And this is absolutely not a jab at the breeder so don’t even ask who it is, shipped eggs have just been such a letdown. I’ve got another dozen in the incubator that will go into lockdown in one week so fingers crossed I have better development! I could’ve used a win this week but maybe God said slow down woman 😩

Rocky, our Indio Gigante, recently started crowing and it’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard 🤣 also you can hear Gravy, my Serama crowing at the beginning. Tiny chicken vs giant chicken ❤️
