Keena, Kimmala, and Michelle Green were a trio of sisters who started their music career as Greens III. They released their debut album "Razor" in 1984, which featured the singles "Can't Stop Dreaming" and "I Want to Be Loved". Later on, they changed their name to Foxx and released their second album "Set Me Free" in 1986, with the singles "Talk to Me" and "Get Up (On the Dance Floor)".
In 1988, the sisters changed their name again, this time to Sweet Obsession. They released their self-titled debut album, which included the hit singles "Gonna Get Over You", "Being In Love Ain't Easy", and "Don't Stop (The Feeling)". These songs received significant airplay and helped the group gain popularity among R&B fans.
Sweet Obsession's second album, "Love Child", was released in 1990 and featured the hit single "I'll Be There". However, the group disbanded in 1991 due to creative differences and personal issues.
Despite their relatively short career, Sweet Obsession is still remembered today as one of the most successful R&B acts to come out in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
