🎙️ EPISODE 100 – “The Church’s Silent Wound”
Tomorrow is episode 100 of Unleashed. A milestone. And I couldn’t ignore the weight of it.

Before I hit record, I’ll be getting on my knees, asking God to guide every word—to speak directly into the hearts of those who need it.

And that means everyone.

The topic? Divorce.
Not theology. Not debate. But the deep, soul-tearing pain of it—and the shame, silence, and judgment that often follow.

I’ve walked it. I’ve wept through it. I’ve lost close relationships. I've been shunned. I’ve felt the judgment and heard the whispers. I’ve been pushed to the outside of once close circles.
But I’ve also come to understand something powerful:

Judgment is just unconfessed sin rotting in someone else’s throat...and God’s grace is always bigger than someone else’s judgment.

You are not disqualified.
You are not damaged goods.
You are a warrior with scars—and that makes you dangerous for good.

When you stop empowering a false identity rooted in sin, freedom rushes in. The enemy thrives on you believing you’re still broken—but believe what Christ has done for you, and sin’s grip vanishes like mist in the morning light.

There’s a kind of theology that sounds humble on the surface but slowly eats away at a man’s soul.

It goes something like this:
“I’m just a worthless sinner. I’m nothing. I deserve hell. I’m scum. Just a worm.”

That might feel spiritual—like you’re giving all the glory to God—but here’s the problem:
God never called you worthless.
He never called you scum.
He never called you a worm.

He calls you His beloved.
His son.
His ambassador.
His warrior.
His friend.

You were once a slave to sin, yes—but now, if you’re in Christ, you’ve been adopted, redeemed, empowered, and crowned with purpose.
To keep calling yourself a worthless worm after the cross is like calling Jesus’ blood insufficient.

That’s not humility.
That’s unbelief.

When Jesus said “It is finished,” He meant it.
The old you died. A new you was born. And that new you is not defined by shame, addiction, or the worst day of your life.

God’s not asking you to grovel—
He’s asking you to rise.

You’re not a worm.
You’re a warrior.
Now start living like it.

I really believe most people want a way to have at least "some" of their stories told. If they felt safe enough, I think that number would move to all people. To be able to honestly and safely share the absolute depths of our story enables us to share our powerful story of redemption.

We all have a little Rocky in us.
