TONIGHT!!! BE THERE!!! That is all😽😽😽
Bittersweet Announcement! It's the Last-EVER Tuatha Dea Hard Rock Cafe Pigeon Forge performance this Thursday the 13th at 7 PM. Our favorite hometown venue is closing doors permanently in just a couple of weeks and we hope you'll come out and celebrate 11 years of TD and HR together in our own back yard. And it's not just here. Hard Rocks around the world are about to be a thing of the past.
Historically from a personal perspective this is surreal and saddening.
Danny Mullikin hails from Jackson Tennessee and attended Isaac Burton Tigrett Jr. High School. Tigrett was one of the Hard Rock original founders. One of the Early Hard Rock Cafes was in the Mall where he grew up. Does anyone remember the Mall HR?
In 2015, Tuatha Dea won the Regional Hard Rock Rising Battle of the Bands at this location and went on to place15th worldwide out of 10,000 bands. It became our only local go to for the 11 years that have followed.
Our song "Appalachia Burning" debuted at The Hard Rock 2 weeks after the fires at the HR benefit for the survivors and then HR honored us by putting our video about the same on their screen rotation.
During COVID we live streamed from this amazing venue.
Our kids grew up going to the Hard Rock. First dates. Birthday parties. All sorts of celebrations and milestones occurred at HRPF. We will miss you Hard Rock dearly.
Hope you'll come out and help us bid the Hard rock farewell in a hardrocking fashion. Here's my favorite Hard Rock Cafe/ Tuatha Dea pic featuring The Infamous Holman Sisters! Post your favorite pics and vids in the comments below!
What are your memories? Do you remember the performances.
