His comments went much further...

"For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep. All of Lebanon must burn!

With all due respect to the Americans, Israel must make it clear to the entire world that the blood of our sons and the security of our citizens are not forfeit. All of Lebanon must burn. Our supreme duty is to protect the citizens of Israel and the soldiers of the IDF, and this commitment takes precedence over every other consideration."

In response to "All of Lebanon must burn!" one critic online said that no Christian nation can condone the elimination of an entire nation, including innocent women and children.

A bipartisan bill known as the Protect College Sports Act has cleared the Senate Commerce Committee.

Now it is headed to the full Senate for a vote.

The legislation, sponsored by Sens. Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell, would establish the first federal framework for Name, Image, and Likeness compensation in college sports.
The bill sets a five-year eligibility window for athletes and allows one free transfer without penalty. Additional transfers would require sitting out one year, with limited exceptions. It also caps agent fees at 5 percent and gives athletes the ability to sue schools over NIL rights, scholarships, and health and safety issues.

The legislation would grant the NCAA an antitrust exemption to enforce its rules and allow conferences to jointly negotiate media rights. It also includes a provision blocking the formation of a super conference.

Several major conferences, including the SEC and Big Ten, have expressed opposition to the bill. A competing NIL bill has also been introduced by other Republican lawmakers.

Will the Senate pass this version of NIL reform this summer, or will opposition from the power conferences prevent it from becoming law?
