The militant who went by “Doberman” is Hunter David Holmes, 23, from Midlothian, Texas. He is a man who uses the name Paige. Dallas police booked him Thursday after a clash outside the Republican midterm gathering at the American Airlines Center.
The charges under review are two counts of assault causing bodily injury and blocking a highway. Detectives are also checking whether the pistol he had was stolen. That piece has not produced a charge. Bond was set at $15,000. He posted it and walked.
Ngo’s reporting traces years of black-bloc work. Holmes built a group called the Community Liberation Brigade, showed up in helmet and goggles, and traveled as far as Portland for actions.
His old posts talked about “fascist brains on a wall,” killing ICE and FBI personnel, and defending “by ANY means necessary.” The FBI searched his house in June. No case followed. He later claimed agents dangled $200,000 to flip him and that he refused.
Adrian Garcia, 19, was taken the same night wearing a CLB patch. An affidavit says he ignored orders to leave the street and struck an officer’s helmet with a flagpole. Both men are free. Holmes put out a clip saying he will not apologize for the confrontation.
That Dallas scene sits next to a larger record. Sixteen North Texas Antifa defendants were convicted in federal court over the 2025 plot to ambush an ICE site in Alvarado. Combined sentences ran into the hundreds of years.
