You may have seen quite a lot of information and speculation around tonight’s Capricorn Solar Eclipse. Just know, you’re already in it. Your body has felt it’s arrival over the past week. By this point, you know how the eclipse has been effecting you. ⁣⁣

Listen. Feel. ⁣⁣

Eclipses are intense celestial events in which the light of a luminary is obstructed from our view. In a solar eclipse, the life-giving light of our Star disappears. What takes place in that vacuum? What potent medicine awaits you in that shadow? ⁣⁣

It’s Saturnday!! Let’s talk about the time keeper of the zodiac, our loyal and true Saturn. ⁣

🪐Saturn is the farthest planet that can seen with the naked eye. It therefore represents the outer bounds of our solar system and the natural world as knew it (before discovery of the outers). ⁣

🪐When we consider the planet is surrounded by a stunning ring system, we can see how it’s significations also allude to the idea of boundaries, limitations and restrictions. ⁣
⁣
🪐Saturn is concerned with form. It crystallizes, compartmentalizes, cements and focuses it on what it touches. It has a way of creating tunnel vision around a particular area or concept, forcing us to pay attention and create discernible changes over a period of time. ⁣

🔸As you probably know, Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun. It’s said to be the messenger of the gods because it bridges the gap between the heavenly realm (the Sun) and the earthly realm. Mercury (or Hermès) is known for its speed, it’s ability to communicate, synthesize, and translate messages from above for consumption down below. ⁣

🔶Mercury is the only planet that doesn’t belong to a sect (day or night) and can function well at any time of the day. It is neither inherently benefic or malefic. It mixes and mingles, floats between realms and can take action that can be perceived as wonderful or annoying AF, depending on its mood (or condition in your birth chart). ⁣
⁣
🔸Mercury in your birth chart on a basic level shows how you think, speak, and communicate. It shows your thought process, how you perceive information and how you synthesize and digest it in your mind.
