Bennington VT to Rutland VT!
Passed the 1,700 mile mark and now have less than 500 miles to Katahdin!
We’ve really enjoyed our time in Vermont so far. The views have been spectacular, full of beautiful trees and massive mountains in the distance. It’s made us even more excited for what’s to come in New Hampshire and Maine.
Did a 4K foot climb up Killington Peak, the second highest summit in Vermont. We have been happy to have some larger climbs lately to help us prepare and get ready for the White Mountains in NH. They’re getting closer by the day!
Had to stop and take a moment to reflect when we saw the sign saying “500 miles to Katahdin”. It doesn’t seem long ago that we finally crossed the 500 mile marker. It’s a rewarding but scary feeling knowing how soon our time on the trail will be up.
