One of our best friends, Tommy Grindle, has fallen on some very hard times. The three of us go back well over a decade in friendship with him. If you don’t know him personally, you may have seen him at Moon Tower Inn or in his band, Ol’ Hag. Tommy is a staple of the Houston music scene, as well as the community. Zelma’s Window and Do It For Chico! Records have stepped up to book a benefit show for him at Black Magic Social Club on Sunday 07/12/26. They have booked some of Tommy’s favorite bands to play. We need to do our part to come together and help him just as he has helped so many. Let’s do this for Tommy. We know we are.

On Friday, Chico rigged up a stroller with 6 fans just so he could go out with Zelma’s Window and flyer around the city getting the word out. Not even the heat could stop him because he knew this was important. Paw to hand, a flyer was given to everyone. Chico loves Tommy.

Loose Helmet and Mind Mine are touring this summer across the country! Mind Mine will be touring with Municipal Bats. Also, our friends The Midnight Papers will be on the road too! Houston is doing it big this summer!
