Our beautiful Blossom is available & looking for a family to provide with milk & love.

Only selling because we need more milk for our growing herdshare.

Blossom is
A2A2
Polled
Registered
Painted midsize 7 yr old Jersey
AI Breed to Jersey semen 11-17 (not yet confirmed)
Calved last June 2025
Halter & lead rope trained (can lead her anywhere)
Hot wire trained
Disease Tested

She is producing a gallon- gallon and a half in her front 2 quarters once a day.
Her back 2 quarters are being dried off per our vets recommendation. Our vet thinks due to the back 2 quarters being heavy producing and a bit more on the “pendulous” side that bumping around as she goes about her cow business has lead to non infectious white blood cells being present to tend to the continual bumping around. He said it is common in a cow with multiple lactations, smaller stature and the more pendulous back 2 quarters but with drying off those quarters the other quarters are likely to pick up in production.

She had positive CMT test in the back 2 quarters on and off since calving mid June, cultures came back as not compatible with mastitis and synergy treatments would improve the CMT tests results but once treatment had stopped CMT tests would eventually become positive.

We are close to the back 2 being dried off & are offering her to a home that needs 1-2ish gallons/ day.
She was our first cow on the farm & was very happy as the only Dairy Queen on the farm.
She is affectionate with other cows but can be a little pushy over food to them.
She will be a great Homestead family cow!

This advice… listen to it & you won’t quit dairy cows your first season in milk (or before).

This advice… listen to it & you won’t quit dairy cows your first season in milk (or before).

Don’t by the heifer…

You’re new to cows, you want a calf you can learn with and grow with…right?
A cute young heifer that gets pushy then to gets by with everything because she quickly learned you wouldn’t enforce boundaries….
A cute young calf that gets scours and sick and you struggle to keep her going and find a vet out of the blue….

Whatever it is….If you’re new to dairy cows….even if you have beef cows….
Skip the heifer…

Buy the old 7 year old cow that knows the ropes.
The one that knows to stand still for milking. The one that knows what time it is 2x a day.
The one that knows what a stanchion is.
The one that has been around the block calving and milking and just knows her entire role in life.

She might not be perfect…she might only have 3 quarters and a sway back.

But she will show you the ropes….
She will show you what a dairy cow needs….
She will prep you for whatever comes next…

The herd (& their farmers) would like to know who ordered the snow so early & heavy ❄️ !?

We had some fence issues with our semi permanent fence issues & of course Logan had left for church already.

Thankfully the cows were to busy munching hay that I found it before they did! but Ginger our newest girl who is in heat gave me a run for my money this am!

Also thankful to live next door to Mammy who was over on a pinch 🤏 & shook snow of the lines while I held the herd back!

Never a dull moment!!
Last Sunday I was walking in sunshine with the girls following me, today trying to run in my husbands boots and inches of wet snow!
The kids sure did have fun in the first snow though! ⛄️

Our Herd is growing! ❤️ We invite you to share in the joy of raw milk by becoming an Agape Hills Farm Herdshare Owner.

🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮 🐮🐮🐮
At Agape Hills Farm, our beloved Jersey cows produce rich, creamy, raw A2A2 milk for our family & farm.
By joining our herdshare program you can enjoy their delicious milk without having a cow in your back yard!

When you join the herd share, you’re not buying milk — you’re becoming a co-owner of the herd and therefore receive a weekly portion of their fresh, raw milk. We offer different share levels based on how many gallons you'd like per month:

🐄 Daily milking, care, and herd management are provided by us — while you enjoy the goodness of the herds raw milk!

Herd care:
We are not a certified Organic farm but we strive to go beyond that organic label.
Our cows are
🐮 Lovingly & Holistically cared for & grazed on spray free pasture, planted with certified organic seed
🐮Fed small amounts of Organic oats, barley & peas & supplements during milking, & free choice access to over 20 mineral buffet!
🐮A Disease Tested Healthy Happy Herd

👩🏻‍🌾 🧑🏼‍🌾 We believe the loving holistic care we give the herd produces vibrant health & milk that is as delicious as it is nutrient dense!
✅We take safety seriously! We are currently working on becoming a Raw Milk Institute listed farm. This is a detailed & lengthy process we hope to finish in early 2026! Read more about RAWMI here https://www.rawmilkinstitute.org/.
