Anita - 3 seats up for city council - running are John Knutson, Kevin Littleton, Mark Harris, Kim Miller, Shelli Hogueison, Eyon Steffensen, Sara Sisler and Deanna Andrews
Massena - Incumbents Doug Venteicher and Jackson Bissell are running again
Cumberland - Four have filed for City Council - Tatiana Thielen, Randall Anderson, Jr., Matthew Dolch and Dori Borras. Running for Mayor is Rachel McCann
Wiota - Running for City Council are Charles Bechtold and Jenna Grossman. Running for Mayor is Bryon Armstrong
Running for 3 school board seats are incumbent Cara Murphy of Anita, Adam Akers of Anita and Mallory Armstrong of Massena

A blood drive will be held in Anita on Fri., Oct. 10 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Anita Community Center
The 4th annual Haunted Trail will be held in Keystone Park on Oct. 18 with the 6-7 p.m. hour for younger people and the 7-9. hours for adults, middle school and high school
The next community meal will be held on Oct. 7 at 11:30 a.m. at the Congregational Church
