A major milestone for health care in Ann Arbor 🏥

The D. Dan and Betty Kahn Health Care Pavilion is now open, marking the system’s largest increase in adult inpatient capacity in 40 years.

The 690,000-square-foot, 12-story hospital adds 264 private patient rooms, 20 operating rooms, advanced imaging including an intraoperative MRI, and expanded specialty services — all designed around a human-centered care model.

Designed by and built by , the pavilion also prioritizes sustainability and is on track for LEED Platinum certification.

The $6.4 billion (CDN) Gordie Howe International Bridge reached a major milestone with the completion of its bridge deck, paving the way for its grand opening in fall 2025! Connecting Detroit, Michigan, and Windsor, Canada, this project will enhance trade, commuter travel, and tourism between the two nations.

Key Milestones & Features:

A stretch of Interstate 69 in Michigan's Calhoun and Eaton Counties, southwest of Lansing, has been in rough condition for some time. The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) projected the costly repair would be an eight- to 10-year project so rebuilding the road was put off until now. See how the Rebuilding Michigan program, along with he decision to make this $210 million mega project design-build, is helping this project become a reality.
