Nathan Bryan
For City Councilman May 5th.

Anna Art Council officially and profoundly supports Nathan Bryan, husband of Lynn Bryan, for City Council May 5, 2025.

Politics matter. If it wasn't apparent in the Presidential election, then you were somehow on another planet. Anna politics also matter, especially for the future Art District of Anna.

It is the City Council who will enable laws allowing public art and fine arts funding. Funds, Nathan Bryan will support our community in locating.

It is City Council that decides how grants are spent and what portion focuses on the Arts of Anna. Grants, Nathan Bryan will support our art community in locating.

Nathan Bryan and Lynn Bryan are why our City has a library and with his reelection, is determined to help create a vibrant arts community that we will all benefit from. He understands uniquely how to navigate grants, permits, laws, and procedures; a wisdom, experience, and love for Anna, only he has.

Please help us ensure Nathan Bryan return to City Council, May 5th, where he belongs, and let us find a supporter who gets things done for the Arts of Anna.

In our first edition Anna's Finest Art Magazine we will sit down with Nathan Bryan and talk about his family, his business, his 6 Years in City Council, and the strength of husband with a wife fighting cancer. We talk about his return to City Council and his goals. And we talk about his experience with a local artist that donated a painting to celebrate his wife's Bravery fighting cancer, on Christmas Eve 2023.

By the time May 5th comes, Nathan Bryan will be more than an option on a ballot but a household friend of the Anna Art Council and in the hearts of every artist, creative, and art student, wanting a community where artists are valued, have access to opportunities, and relentlessly build Anna's Art District

We cannot wait to unveil our first edition magazine and encourage all artists, and business owners, to appear on our pages. Artists, we are not charging you to advertise your paintings, photos, and handmade crafts, for sale, and show.

INVEST in Anna's Art

A town's art, music, newspapers, galleries, and events are the lifeblood of its community, but they hinge on a powerful alliance with its talented art community. When this partnership thrives, small art communities exponentially grow into Music Halls, Opera Houses, Performing Arts Centers, Live Theaters, Galleries, and community-wide festivals—providing our community with endless benefits. The success of these expansions isn't a matter of luck; it's the result of experienced, reputable, and ambitious leaders in the arts, ready to carve out and nurture growth. Every cultural powerhouse started with one brave artist stepping forward. If only Anna could find an artist willing to go the mile for Anna, whose art advocacy is inspiring and strategic. If all this person would need is a little funding—consider your community blessed beyond your knowing. Grab them up, hoist them over your shoulders, for they just might transform your little town into a cultural icon of art, prestige, and wealth.

For the past three years, not one but TWO local artists, Aubre’ Murphy and Joseph Marlette, a powerhouse art couple nationally recognized and locally revered, have meticulously built Anna’s Art Council. They've rallied over 40 local artists and a dozen instructors, liaised with local officials, and tirelessly sought funding from federal, state, county, and city leaders. They are the heart and soul behind the only 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the arts that supports the cancer community with over 400 donated paintings in under five years. Their dedication was acknowledged when Mayor Pete Cain declared November 12th as “Aubre’ Murphy Day,” celebrating her invaluable contributions to Anna's arts. Never has Anna had such a clear choice for arts advocacy. Towns dreaming of an art district need their own Aubre’ and Joe to become the next cultural sensation. It is unfortunate our City Officials turned them away until Anna has the budget for it. Anna, you cannot afford to turn this opportunity away—we won’t let you.

Fortunately for Anna, Aubre’ and Joe are tenacious. Instead of languishing while waiting for grants and federal funding—especially post-DOGE findings—they've pioneered a for-profit model. They offer art enthusiasts, collectors, and Anna residents the chance to support the arts, local artists, future tourism, and a community that knows the prestigious value of an art-supportive society. They have belonged to New York art festivals, are Dean's list college students, triple business owners, community influencers, and the only artists who seek a better life for area artists, with the only arts organizations, arts advocacy, arts magazine, and ideas for the next five years of art district designation. They are experts in project management, arts profitability, and are passionate about art therapy.

Consider if instead of nonprofit endeavors, area investors could benefit from their initial investments like how Denton’s Art District makes up 38% of the entire local economy. Or, how 2024, Frisco’s art district generated a staggering $38M. How McKinney's Art District invested $2.6M and saw a return of $13.9M and are using it to build a new music hall. The economic benefits are irrefutable—higher returns on investment, job creation, business development, and booming tourism. Ask any benefactor of these cultural hotspots about their returns, and they'll likely wish they'd built them originally for profit. 4th Street Art is excited to offer the future of Anna’s Art scene as an investment to area legacy families, business owners, community members, and commercial property owners, who know the high impact of arts communities and want to ensure the Arts of Anna moves forward while enjoying their leap of faith.

To meet the highest impact while creating the greatest initial impact, 4th Street Art is prepared to offer three initial ways you can invest in their initiaves.

As we expand into commercial spaces like lofts, rentable studios, cafés, gardens, and festival grounds, your investment grows alongside us, driven by increased value and activity.

Together, let’s build the Anna Art District where sponsors become investors, and investors become the custodians of Anna’s artistic legacy. If the City of Anna makes time for grants and funding, we will happily, gleefully, and gratefully invest them into our programs, artists, and events.

Time. Nor tide, wait for any man. Together we answer the call to create what does not exist, for Anna artists, Anna’s small businesses, Anna’s community—together we lead the way for a more interesting, entertaining, inspiring, and culturally significant community. Together, we make Anna a place where artists live, grow, and significantly impact the community they love, Anna, is Our hometown, too.

Rosemary's Watercolors

One of our favorite local people, also an artist, Rosemary, shares her Watercolor paintings with us. We highly recommend following her page. She is an absolute joy of encouragement, kindness, and compassion; someone always commenting, complimenting, and sharing our posts.

She is exactly who we are looking for to occupy the family of "AFAM" Anna's Finest Art Magazine , Anna Art Council , and 4th Street Art as we grow from a page into a community publication; an online virtual art gallery, giftshop, and academy; and an art complex that helps artists turn hobbies into successful careers.

As we grow we hope to explain why we exist by sharing beautiful things made by beautiful people, for beautiful reasons. Rosemary focuses her brand on the Texas culture. Some of her work is humorous, others brilliantly detailed, while others are adorable.

We are privileged to see the world through Rosemary's lens. Next time you are looking for a mantle piece or something for your office, we hope you'll remember the Texas brand of local charm found in Rosemary's Watercolors.

Keep our local artists in your prayers as we make some of the most important decisions to ever grace the Anna Art community.

Thank you Rosemary!

Anna Population 2024

When we create forensic marketing research for Anna's Finest Art Magazine we rely on studies that are as up to date, as possible. I found this report, I thought I would share.

Thank you to the 881 Veterans in Anna, we are truly grateful you sacrificed your life, your time, your futures, to defend our freedom. Not enough people understand what these wars meant to society and to the lives we live today. We find it intolerable our Veterans are not as respected, and celebrated, as you should be and vow to use our magazine, our success, and the art center and gallery we build, to remember your service. As time progresses, you'll understand better the focus we have on giving back to our Veterans; as we encourage Patriotic Art, as we provide free art therapy courses, and invite Veterans who fought in the wars that defended our freedom, living in Anna to attend ALL our events at no cost, ever.

Thank you for your love of America, Americans, and for gracing our community.

If you are a Veteran facing homelessness, behind on mortgage payments, behind on utilities, please contact www.endeavors.org immediately. They will help you on your back payments, bring you current, help with car repairs, and utilities. They will qualify you by phone and stand by your side until you are current and secure. If you must move, they will provide an attorney for court proceedings, help you find a new home, pay your security deposit, and your rent. They may even qualify you for as many as two years in rent.

Please Like our page and never miss another announcement.

May God Bless our Veterans and may God Bless America.
