Today’s feature: the ultra-luxurious, double-duty FIRE EXTINGUISHER W**E CABINET. That’s right—someone looked at a safety device and thought, “You know what this needs? Merlot.”

Is that w**e for before you put out the fire… or after? We don’t know, but we fully support disaster preparedness—with a nice red, of course.

Sometimes all it takes is the sight of water to remind me to breathe again. That’s why I moved to Southern Maryland from the District. After years of working in TV, always on the go and under pressure, I realized I needed a different kind of backdrop for my life.

Here, the quiet waves and open views give me a calm I didn’t even know I was missing. The stress unwinds a little every time I look out at the water.

Who else gets instantly excited when they see that first pumpkin sign of the season? 🎃

I don’t know about you, but when I drive by Brickhouse Farm and spot their pumpkin sign, I’m ready to pull over immediately! They have the most amazing baking pumpkins – perfect for pies, breads, and all the cozy fall recipes. And honestly, farms all over the county are bursting with incredible pumpkins right now.

We’ve adopted rescue Goldens for years, and one of our goofiest girls, Sydney, came all the way from Turkey. Today I stumbled across her old passport and I’m still laughing.

The serious little photo, the official stamps… and yet how can tell it’s her? She looks so serious when normally she has a sweet, slightly derpy expression made for adventure.

Posting this as a reminder: rescue dogs don’t just change homes, they change worlds — ours and theirs. 🐾

Throwback to the Tulsa Fairgrounds, where I spent what feels like half my childhood showing hunter/jumpers and surviving on horse show donuts and pure adrenaline.

Seeing this video reminded me of all those brutal early wake-up calls for the Tulsa Charity Horse Show. The only time you could get into the arena was 4:00 AM… yes, FOUR. IN. THE. MORNING.

I honestly still can’t believe my parents willingly took us to that madness. Looking back, I’m not sure if it was dedication, love, or temporary insanity—but I’m grateful for every sleepless, horse-scented memory.

From the moment I drove up to St Mary’s Church Road, I was absolutely in love. This old house feels like stepping back in time in the most magical way. From the old cast iron sink to the amazing staircases, every corner is filled with historic charm and character you just can’t recreate.

I have to say, my favorite detail is the sink mounted on that old wooden wall — it’s so simple, yet it tells a story all on its own.
