Things to do in Maryland October 15 - 18 include the Annapolis Sailboat Show. On Saturday, you can eat oysters at the U.S. National Oyster Festival in Leonardtown or at Captain Avery Museum in Shady Side. Oktoberfests take over Berlin, Frederick, and the Maryland Zoo. Festivals run from Oxon Hill to Poolesville, plus SpookyFest and a haunted hike for anyone getting an early start on Halloween. On Sunday, the fun moves to the Maryland Avenue Fall Festival in Annapolis and Carroll Creek in Frederick.
