Meet Goose, the three-year-old Australian Labradoodle who knows how to make the most of life in Eastport. 🐾

From swimming with his dog friends to strolling downtown and chasing tennis balls, this social butterfly has become quite the neighborhood regular. 🎾

One of Goose’s best stories came when his family discovered he had been leading his dog walker to Oscar’s Coffee every day for pup cups. As Halsey Carter shared, “Turns out Goose had been dragging his dog walker to Oscar’s every day and getting a pup cup... he went on a diet after that!” ☕️

Look for Goose’s full Precious Pets feature in the October issue of Stroll Eastport and get to know this beloved neighborhood pup. 💙

Meet the Plummer-Gramm family, our October Meet Your Neighbor feature. 👋

After moving to Eastport in 2020, Beth Plummer found much more than a new address. She and her partner, Brad Gramm, found a community that truly felt like home. 🏡

Their Eastport days are filled with waterfront walks, pickleball, boating, live music, family visits, and plenty of adventures with Willow, their Blue Heeler. “We love the social aspect of Eastport,” Beth says. “Bonus points that everything we need is within walking distance.” ✨

From volunteering with local organizations to supporting Naval Academy midshipmen, Beth and Brad have embraced the connections that make Eastport special. 🧡

Eastport knows how to bring neighbors together! 🎉

The Eastport Civic Association Annual Picnic was filled with friends, familiar faces, and plenty of community spirit, with members of the Annapolis Police Department and Annapolis Fire Department joining the celebration. 🚒

ECA President Paul Rankin also recognized APD Captain Guy Thacker for creating the traffic flow exit plan for the Blue Angels and Fourth of July fireworks, an effort that made a meaningful difference for Eastport residents. 👏

Cheers to the neighbors and first responders who help make Eastport such a connected community! 💙

Strength, healing, and community all move together on Spa Creek. 🐉

Founded in 2010 by breast cancer survivor Mike Ashford, the Annapolis Dragon Boat Club has grown to roughly 180 members, bringing cancer survivors and supporters together through fitness, friendship, and time on the water. 💙

No paddling experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome to experience the connection that comes from getting in the boat and paddling together. 🚣

Just another Thursday night in Eastport, where an ordinary evening feels anything but ordinary. 🎶

Scrabble Night at B&BK, The Jarflys rocking Tides & Tunes, kayakers cruising Back Creek, and a raft up at the Maritime Museum made 2nd Street the place to be. 🛶

It’s the kind of night that captures what makes Eastport special: great music, waterfront fun, and a community that knows how to enjoy its own backyard. 💙

Here’s to more evenings filled with the people, places, and local traditions that make Eastport feel like home. ✨

October in Eastport is made for connection. 🍂

In this month’s Publisher’s Note, Judy Buddensick reflects on more than 25 years in Eastport and the independent spirit, waterfront energy, local traditions, and neighbors who have made this peninsula feel like home. 💙

As Judy shares, “Eastport is special because of the people.” Through Stroll Eastport, she looks forward to celebrating those people, introducing new neighbors, highlighting favorite local spots, and sharing the stories that keep our community connected. 🏡

Here’s to pumpkin patches, porch lights, and another season of making memories together in Eastport. 🎃

A little more joy can make a meaningful difference, especially during life’s hardest chapters. 💜

The ADY Life Center is creating opportunities for people navigating illness, loss, and trauma to connect through Joy Labs, Thriver Krewes, Thriver Parades, and resources focused on joy and resilience. 🌟

The organization is also looking for volunteers, program partners, donations, donated spaces, and community members interested in helping build its work locally, including a future Maryland Thriver Parade. 🎺

Julie’s story is a powerful reminder to make room for joy, lean into community, and celebrate being alive even when life gets tough. ✨
