Army women’s lacrosse dominates possession in beating No. 24 Navy for first time in seven meetings, 14-9

“Our Navy women’s lacrosse team is very sad, but also resilient. We know one game does not define who we are for this season,” Navy coach Cindy Timchal said after the Midshipmen fell to Army, 14-9, in Annapolis on Saturday. “We have to bounce back and be ready next week to play Loyola.”

Great article once again from the Capital Gazette Sports but not the outcome Christos FC enjoys. The Over-30 group is in the USASA Region I Semi Final this weekend I’m the Gerhard Mengel Cup. This group is a 3 time National Championship team and 5 time USASA Region 1 Champion. We look at add to those #’s.

Is it Science or is it Political? Health experts say classrooms should reopen

I have been a loyal Capital reader for over 20 years, but a front-page article has caused me to consider ending my subscription. I have no idea why a person named James Naylor, a man who most readers have never heard of, is worthy of front page news just because he won’t back President Donald Trump in the upcoming election (The Capital, July 19).

Good for him, but who cares! A newsworthy article titled “Health experts say classrooms should reopen,” something most parents are thinking about right now, is tucked away in the back of the paper.

Clearly the paper has set its agenda and they’re trying very hard to push their opinions on to their readers. It’s a shame.
