A former Ruth’s Chris Steak House employee in Odenton has been charged with allegedly stealing a customer’s credit card and racking up more than $3,000 in charges.

Nauman Nadeem, 40, of Windsor Mill, faces theft, theft scheme and related charges for the alleged September incident, for which he was charged this month. If convicted of all charges, Nadeem could face up to 16 1/2 years in prison.

Nadeem’s attorney declined to comment on the case Tuesday.
