The Jacksonville Journal’s mission is to provide newsworthy events and stories to the residents and visitors of Jacksonville, Alabama. Our main goal is to report, literally, the news of this little “big” town. The news will be presented without bias or with an attempt to sway the reader in either direction. It is our intention to let the reader make their own decisions and conclusions. Our staff, contributors, vendors, and advertisers will be from Jacksonville to ensure that the information about the City is done by people from the City.

Articles and opinion pieces will be clearly marked and The Jacksonville Journal will allow well written articles to be submitted without regard to political affiliation or personal opinions.

We will work hard to make sure you can keep in touch with important City Officials, Event Planners, and Activities around the area. We believe that we are here to serve the community that we report on.
