Pretty awesome story about the Ginn family!

The name "Ginn" is deeply ingrained in Alexandria, Alabama, evoking images of championships, resilient athletes, and a dedication to doing things the right way.

Featured here is Todd Ginn, son of the legendary Coach Larry Ginn, who is undoubtedly one of Alabama's most successful high school coaches, having earned two football and three basketball state championships at Alexandria.

Todd Ginn is currently leading Alexandria's football team, which has achieved a 10-1 record and is scheduled to play in the second round of the playoffs this Friday night.

Just two short years ago, in 2023, Coach Ginn's relatively young team finished with a 1-9 overall record. Coach Ginn stepped up without hesitation and took full responsibility for that season, with no finger-pointing or blaming anyone.

The reason that was important is that the true character of a man is revealed when he achieves extreme success or faces hard times. Coach Ginn took that negative season head-on and used it as a learning experience that has built this current team's success.

All of this is possible because, without a doubt, the life lessons he learned in his house growing up with his father about handling success and adversities with true character and class have had a lasting impact.

Coach Jackson is on a short list for Coach of the Year for sure!

Rico Jackson's Anniston Bulldogs have secured an impressive 11-0 record, capturing the regional championship and advancing to the second round of the playoffs.

Anniston High School's efforts to achieve this success have been ongoing, with significant investments in facility upgrades, including the installation of turf on the field and renovations to the weight room.

The school has also introduced new uniform combinations and a renovated locker room.

Under the guidance of Coach Rico Jackson, a leading contender for Coach of the Year, the team's undefeated status and exceptional performance are a testament to their hard work and dedication to all of Anniston High.

Jax State gets the win on the road and they are now Bowl eligible…again…for the 3rd straight year!!! 5-0 in Conference-USA, Kennesaw State won today as well and they are also 5-0 in the conference…the Gamecocks and Owls will face off in Jacksonville at Burgess-Snow field at AmFirst Stadium next week! Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm! See you there! Go Gamecocks! 🐔👌🏻🪶

Hello all my football fans! Ellen here, I know you guys probably saw the previous posts I made about Hugh Freeze and Mike Shula….so 4 head coaches have been fired in the SEC alone! All fired before the end of the season! Florida, Arkansas, LSU and Auburn! Not to mention head coaches at Penn State, UCLA, VA Tech, Oklahoma State, Stanford, UAB, Oregon State, Colorado State, and Kent State…dropping like flies! Question: who else is on the chopping block? Do you think it’s a good idea to fire a head coach so late (mid-late) in the season? Is it a good idea? Who do you see taking job openings? Where do you see the fired coaches going (besides the sofa lol)? Do you see the transfer portal filling up because of the change in head coaches? Do you understand kids wanting to transfer or de-committing after a coach leaves or do you think they should stick it out? Let me know what you think!
