Devon Larratt told Joe Rogan one of the strangest military stories ever shared on The Joe Rogan Experience.
Devon Larratt is not some random guy telling a random internet ghost story. He’s a legendary arm wrestling champion, a former Canadian Armed Forces soldier, and someone who has lived through situations most people will never come close to experiencing.
In this clip from The Joe Rogan Experience, Devon talks about something he says happened during a military deployment in Erbil, Iraq.
According to Devon, a soldier he knew personally started acting completely different. He said the guy began freezing up, locking up, speaking in tongues, speaking languages he apparently didn’t know, and somehow knowing private details about the people around him.
Not just surface-level details either.
Devon says he knew things about people’s lives, their past, and even things from childhood that he should not have known.
At first, the soldier was taken through the medical system. But according to Devon, the situation eventually moved beyond medicine and into something much darker.
A priest was brought in.
An exorcism was performed.
And the part that makes the story even more disturbing is what Devon says the priest told them afterward. The priest allegedly recognized the demon and claimed he had already dealt with it before in other people.
Whether you believe in demonic possession, exorcisms, spiritual warfare, or you think there has to be another explanation, this story is hard to ignore because of how specific Devon gets.
He says he personally knew the soldier involved. He trusted the men who witnessed it. And even Joe Rogan seemed genuinely thrown off by the details.
