🎯 **What’s the ONE thing that deserves more of your attention?**
That was the theme of another hugely successful, energetic, and highly interactive meeting at **Apex Toastmasters**! 09/17/2026
Our theme, **“The One Thing,”** explored a simple idea: we often believe that doing *more* means achieving more—but sometimes greater fulfillment and success come from doing **less, with greater focus**.
As Toastmaster for the evening, I was humbled to hear from several members that the theme felt unique, relatable, and gave them something to reflect on beyond the meeting.
🌟 **A few highlights from the evening:**
🎤 **Janesh Devkota** delivered a fascinating prepared speech about **building an AI application and taking it toward commercialization**—a great combination of technology, entrepreneurship, and real-world learning.
💬 **Amy Stephan** led an incredibly engaging **Table Topics** session. With a little extra time available, we were able to fit in many more questions and hear spontaneous responses from several members and guests. It turned into one of the most interactive parts of the evening!
Throughout the meeting, we kept coming back to one question:
**What is the ONE thing in your life right now that deserves more of your attention?**
Sometimes we don’t need twenty new goals.
Sometimes we just need clarity on **one**.
A big thank you to everyone who took on a role, participated, spoke, evaluated, answered a Table Topics question, and helped make the meeting such a memorable one.
