Well, one fun thing that resulted from the accident was a getting a rental car that is a model Y. This is pretty fun car - Charity has been considering when the time comes to replace her beloved mini van getting an EV. All the owners out there! Give all your EV wisdom! Pros? Cons?
While a Tesla probably isn't the optimal vehicle for full time RV life, we are liking the idea of not having to gas up our get-around-town-vehicle while we are at the Glamper Hideaway.

Can i just say how much of a PAIN insurance can be? The truck isn't drivable because the radiator was damaged (hoping for no other hidden damage). And insurance does NOT want to pay for an OEM radiator but rather a cheap, rebuilt. With using our super duty LIKE a super duty (towing heavy loads) we will have to PAY OUT OF POCKET the price difference to get an OEM replacement. For an accident that isn't even our fault....can you tell how frustrated we are?

He’s not quite 16 yet, BUT he’s been saving for the past year for his first car.
Thankfully, in Florida offers a drivers education class online. This class is followed up with 3 free driving lessons with an instructor from the once the student completes the class and obtains their learners permit.
Dakota completed the class and driving lessons several months ago and has been practicing behind the wheel with mom and dad. He’s been a very cautious driver!
We found a great deal on an older Honda and now Dakota can continue learning in his own car (bought and paid for himself). It’s bittersweet watching our kids growing up and checking off the different “rites of passage” of growing into adulthood.
We know our days of travel as a family of four are numbered….and we try to make every moment count when we can we be on the road with the RV. And in the meantime, Dakota is on the road (with a parent) in his “new” car.

One of the easiest AND most satisfying upgrades we made recently was adding the The RV A/C Silencer We did this SAME mod in our Class A and it was first on our list of things to do in our "new" rig. ❄️

🌍✨ Happy International Students Day! ✨🌍
Today we’re celebrating our amazing kids — not just for their hard work in school, but for the way they chase down learning in every corner of life.
Trinity pours herself into athletics with grit and heart. And Dakota is constantly exploring drones, engines, mechanics, and anything he can take apart and understand — plus playing sports just because he loves it.

But honestly… the greatest classroom they’ve ever had has been the open road. Over the past 7 years, we’ve traveled to 49 of the 50 states in our RV, and those miles have given them lessons you can’t find in any textbook:
• Curiosity
• Flexibility
• Confidence
• Problem-solving
• Real-world experiences they’ll carry forever
We couldn’t be more proud of the students — and humans — they’re becoming. 💛
Here’s to all the students learning, growing, exploring, and building their future one adventure at a time. 🚐💨🌄

See those white spots? 👀
Guess what that is… FUNGUS 🤢 — the kind that grows when water sneaks in through a tiny leak in the rubber membrane that comes on most factory RV roofs.
All of this wood had to be completely torn out and replaced!
We captured the entire process — from teardown to the final spray-on roof — in our latest YouTube video. 🎥

It’s crazy how a pencil-sized hole can cause this much hidden damage 😳
What started as a tiny leak turned into major roof rot underneath. This is exactly why regular roof maintenance is so important — and why we’ve now gone with a spray-on roof from our friends at Flexarmor on both of our rigs.

How we got started.....

In the summer of 2017, we bought our first RV. While we had wanted to be able to RV with our family, we didn’t expect to be able to “afford” an RV for many years. Surprise! An RV isn’t quite as much as you might think. We found that the older RV’s are both reliable and affordable. Our first RV was a 2000 Fleetwood Pace Arrow. We spent the next spring (2018) remodeling the interior before we headed out on first big road trip where we traveled full time with our family for 41 days. We were able to upgrade to a 2004 Fleetwood Discovery Diesel Pusher in the fall of 2018.

Owning our own businesses gives us time and location freedom. We love being able to make memories with our kids while they are young (and mom and dad are still cool).
