Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this band combines rock, folk, and soul elements to create a unique yet familiar sound thats sure to draw you in. Ben Harold is a full-time singer-songwriter, musician, and multi-instrumentalist who is now joined by The Rising: members Ken Zabler on guitar, Carl Crumbliss on bass, Dan Kolesari on keyboards, and Joe Howard on the drums. They are often compared to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Counting Crows, and Wilco. Their music is known for its honest conviction and a style that is both familiar and modern as realized in the recent album "These Days". In this episode, they recorded a live EP they're calling "Solace," and we're thrilled to share it with you. Leading the Blind, a local rock band that has been making waves since 2010, takes center stage in 'The Lobby' featuring the powerful vocals of Marty Paschke alongside the harmonious Eric Krueger, whom some may recognize from Episode Four of this series. This time, we are delighted to have Whitney Rose, a singer-songwriter who blends country, rock, indie, soul and folk music into her own unique and soulful style. Whitney is an Indiana native, but has lived in many places, including Tennessee and Wisconsin, where she currently resides. She has a passion for music and storytelling, and she writes songs that reflect her life experiences and emotions. She recently released her first single, "It’s Ok", which is a beautiful and uplifting song about finding yourself and your purpose in life (Link Below).
