Legislative delegates…
-Picked their bill topics
-Learned how to research and debate

Media delegates…
-Choose November Newsletter topics
-Practiced their interview skills

Judicial delegates…
-Learned how to research and annotate case topics
-Played their first game of Mafia!

Fox Cities YIG Delegates enjoyed pizza on Tuesday while they worked in their program areas.

-Jumped right into interviewing to build skills.

-Learned about court systems and the responsibilities of a YIG attorney.
-Got to know each other better through games and activities.

Legislative delegates…
-Discussed bill ideas and how to research.
-Showed good reasoning and thought process during debate.

Fox Cities had another absolutely amazing conference! Three of our very own delegates, Cody Gasperini, Anusha Achanti, and Killian Winkel had their bills passed in both the Senate and the Assembly and were signed by the Governor! Delegates continued to crush their articles and cases, and we could not be more proud of everyone this year!

Last Tuesday we had the honor to hear from Alderperson Smith! He served on the Appleton Common Council and is also our Co-Prez’s dad! We got to hear about his day-to-day, and how he makes change in our community!

Last week we were so lucky to have Honorable Judge Reed come in and speak about his journey to becoming a circuit court judge!
