Autocross Information
9am – Registration & Tech Open
10:30am – Drivers Meeting
11:00am – 1st Car out
3pm – Awards
Cost: $25 for CWSCC Members, $35 for Non Members
Requirements:
DOT Certified Helmet
18 years and older (or parental guardian onsite)
Valid Drivers License
Car must pass basic tech inspection
Food and drinks available for purchase. Absolutely no alcohol allowed.
Waiver required for event participation.
Presented by the Central Wisconsin Sports Car Club (CWSCC) and Grand Rapids Lion’s Club.

Solo II events are driving skill contests that emphasize the driver’s ability and the car’s handling characteristics.
This is accomplished by driving a course that is designated by traffic cones on a low hazard location, such as a parking lot or inactive airstrip.
While speeds are no greater than those normally encountered in legal highway driving, the combination of concentration and car feedback creates an adrenaline pumping experience.
Events
You’ll need a safe car, seat belts, an effective muffler, and an approved helmet (Snell 2005 or newer). Some loaner helmets will be available.

On site registration 8:30 a.m. – 9:50 a.m.
There will be a $10.00 penalty for late registration ($50/$60)

We typically finish up around 5:00pmThere will be a hard registration cut off at 8:00am on the day of the event. Please be prompt! Showing up after that won’t allow you time to walk the course. Drivers not familiar with the course often get lost and slow the event down which isn’t fair to others.

What is HPDE (Lapping Day)?
A lapping day (also called HPDE for High Performance Driver Education) allows you and your car on a track for several 15-20 minute sessions. It’s the best bang for your buck netting you the most seat time. Lapping days are an exhilarating way to test yourself and your car’s capabilities and improve your skills.

Iowa Region SCCA will be hosting our second rallycross event of 2016 on April 3rd outside Vinton, IA. Please register for this event at the link below to make things go smoother the day of the race. We only collect payment the day of the event and there is no penalty for registering and then not showing up. Cost to race is $40 if you are not a SCCA member or $25 if you are. We are intending to have the first racer on track by 10am, so please arrive early (8 AM) to ensure time to register, have your car tech inspected and walk the course.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

Ticket Details
All drivers need to buy event tickets for each event. Tickets are $80.00 each. Each event is limited to 50 drivers! Each event must sell 30 tickets by 15 days prior to the event in order for the even to be confirmed. To view who has signed up and paid please check on the event page for that event.
Refund policy: Refunds will only be given if the event is canceled by venue or Stateline. If the event is canceled ALL driver tickets will be rolled to the following event unless you ask for a refund by email. If you buy a ticket and can’t come, you are welcome to sell it to another driver. When you buy a ticket, you are agreeing to Stateline Rallycross rules and policies. No refunds are granted if you are found to have broken the rules.

SCCA Milwaukee Region presents the first of seven PDX events at the Milwaukee Mile road course. Most of these are Performance Driving Experience (PDX), also known as track day events that start in the afternoon and run until dark. This particular event is on SATURDAY. Thus we’ll be running four groups with each group getting at least three 20-minute on-track sessions. This is the First 2016 PDX event. As always you get lots of seat time for a reasonable price. THE LEARNING CURVE – Solo New Drivers School
Chicago Region Solo driver’s school is an excellent way to learn about and become involved in Solo events. It is a two-part school that consists of a classroom session and a day and a half of in car instruction. Instruction will be provided by experienced, award winning drivers (many with National Championship credentials). Because the entry is limited to only 100 students, there will be a very favorable student/teacher ratio allowing for maximum driving time and personal instruction. The school is for novice drivers with less than one year or no solo experience. Students must attend both days. Loaner helmets are available.

The current status is a bill being introduced to congress to exempt competition vehicles. It will likely pass as the exemption has been in place for decades. Solo is an affordable entry-level form of Motorsports for racing enthusiasts of all ages. Solo teaches car control that will make you a better, safer and more confident driver. For more information on Autocrossing click here. The entire SCCA Solo rule book is now online. A valid drivers license and a Snell M2000 or better helmet is required. Our Solo events are held at Miller Park with lunch available onsite from Cousins Subs. Contact Mike Machi to obtain a minor waiver which you’ll need signed by your parents. They also need to be onsite when you’re competing or at the drivers school. Please note that the Street classes may use 140 tw tires for local Milwaukee Region events, but you’ll need 200 tw for National events.
