SUBMISSIONS OPEN FOR BURN BARREL VOL 6!

Please send anywhere from 4-12 high-res tiffs or jpegs of your best photographs, paintings, collages, screen prints, or other preferred media to [email protected]

Deadline is July 27th, 2026.

There is no theme but we typically want visual representations of hot messes, subcultural fiascos, victimless crimes, outside agitators, agitated outsiders, underground lairs, trashy lovers, dumpster fires, and anything else we can jam in our bleeding eyes to soothe our broken hearts while the earth simultaneously burns and drowns in slow motion & high definition.

As usual, no culture-vulture crap or other exploitative nonsense.

This project is always a benefit and proceeds go to a different mutual aid project each year. A project will be chosen for this year’s zine before the submission deadline. If your cadre is part of a mutual aid project that is responding to the current needs of the moment and wants to be involved in this, please reach out to the email listed above.

Check out the New Orleans Punk Weekend. They have multiple killer shows around town on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and markets on Sat & Sun. Burn Barrel will be tabling Sunday at starting at 4pm and it will likely be our last market of the year. F**k the big corporations, support diy & local artists!

The gone fishin sign is being taken down and the shop will be back open tomorrow afternoon, Monday, Aug 14th, 2025, 1pm central time! All available titles will be ready to purchase and we have several new book titles, and possibly a reissue or two, as well as the 1st issue of Dark Horse Moto magazine coming in hot! So stay tuned! ❤️‍🔥

Most of our operations will be on Hiatus from May 9th until sometime in August. This includes taking and shipping any new orders. So if you plan on getting any titles from us, such as the newly issued Burn Barrel Vol5, you better get your orders in before the 9th!
