Proceeds from the sale of this zine go to the New Orleans Food Share, which has been serving hot food under the bridge and in the Lower 9th Ward since 2011. SHARE FOOD // FOOD SHARE!

Among tons of art, crafts, and book vendors, we’re super excited to have DJ Pescadilla & Bvlbancha Liberation Radio, a stacked program of speakers, as well as delicious food (w/ vegan & gluten-free options) by Que Pasta, and performances by local punk & hardcore heroes Terminal Tongue, DREMM, and Trigger Therapy. Excited to announce the 3rd annual, New Orleans Art, Crafts, and Books, Zinefest! As always the New Orleans A.C.A.B. Fest will include tabling from small presses, booksellers, info distros, and print & apparel artists, as well as live music, readings, and more! If you’re interested in tabling this event or contributing to our programming, please follow the link in our bio or reach out to [email protected]

Info/distro tables and non-sales-based tables can be provided space free of charge. Other tables and half tables will be provided on a sliding scale basis so they are accessible to all, with extra consideration given to local vendors. If finances are a barrier from you tabling, we encourage you to let us know on the form or in email that you are interested in free tabling space.

SUBMISSIONS OPEN FOR BURN BARREL VOL 5!

Please send anywhere from 4-12 high-res tiffs or jpegs of your best photographs, paintings, collages, screen prints, or other preferred media to [email protected]

Deadline is the last day of summer, Sept 22, 2024.

There is no theme but we typically want visual representations of hot messes, subcultural fiascos, victimless crimes, outside agitators, agitated outsiders, underground lairs, trashy lovers, dumpster fires, and anything else we can jam in our bleeding eyes to soothe our broken hearts while the earth simultaneously burns and drowns in slow motion & high definition.

As usual, no culture-vulture crap or other exploitative nonsense.

This project is a benefit and proceeds are given to a different mutual aid project each year.

Now in the Burn Barrel workshop, a photo book by the prolific Chris Boarts Larson ()!This project will center around her black and white film photography of the diy-punk and squat scene of the Lower East Side in the early 90s and beyond. We are thrilled and honored to be publishing her long overdue debut photo book! Stay tuned.
