The Arcata High School Pepperbox

The Arcata High School Pepperbox The Pepperbox, a completely student-run, student-funded newspaper, has served the students and staff of Arcata High School since 1927.

Legend has it that there once was a box in the library called the "Pep box," where students put in suggestions for teachers and administration. This box also happened to be a used pepper (the spice) box. When the Arcata High School student newspaper was founded, it was appropriately given its current name, The Pepperbox. I took to Instagram to ask our very own Pepperbox Instagram followers who they think are the most loved, celebrated, and “celebrity-like” students....

Emma Kaber, A&E Editor 9th January, 2023 You might be looking at the page right now, judging me for not knowing the common fact that tomatoes are fruits. I never said that tomatoes aren’t fruits.
