We are excited to announce our first guest judge this year… Victoria Vincent (aka Vewn)!! ✨ We’re so excited to have her join us this year to be a judge of the films in our program as well as speak on our guest judge panel which will be April 25 on campus!

Last minute call to donate to the Humboldt International Film Festival for Giving Day!

Since 1967, the Humboldt International Film Festival has brought independent short films to Humboldt County. As the world’s longest-running student-run film festival, we’ve created a unique venue for traditional films and alternative digital media. The festival enjoys an international reputation for supporting and celebrating independent filmmakers working in traditional, experimental, and non-traditional modes. Founded by a group of film-loving Cal Poly Humboldt students, the Festival has expanded over the years to feature 4 days of public screenings, workshops, and presentations by guest judges from the film industry each spring.

As a student-run festival, its success depends on the community's donations and support to keep the festival going for years to come. Your donation will help future-proof the film festival and help to continue developing in-person and virtual film events. These events bring the local and global community together through films that entertain and serve as a platform for self-expression and meaningful dialogue on social, political, and cultural issues.
