September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 💛
It is a time to recognize the children and families whose lives have been changed by cancer, but it is also an opportunity to turn awareness into something more.
There are simple ways to help throughout September and all year long.
Share reliable information about childhood cancer and amplify the stories families choose to share.
Support organizations funding pediatric cancer research and helping families through treatment.
Donate blood or platelets if you are able. Many children undergoing cancer treatment rely on transfusions.
Contact lawmakers and advocate for more funding, research, and better treatment options for children.
Participate in a fundraiser, volunteer, or simply help bring more attention to the organizations already doing this work every day.
You do not have to do everything to make a difference. Sometimes one donation, one blood donation, one shared resource, or one conversation can help.
Going gold is a beautiful way to show support.
Turning that awareness into advocacy and action is even better. 💛
Every child deserves the chance to learn, play, dream, celebrate birthdays, and grow up.
