👀📚 This is the kind of news I LOVE sharing … the Main Line has a new independent bookstore!

Today I stopped by Chapter Two Books and met the owner, Annie, a Penn Wynne resident and book lover who aspires to become “the neighborhood book lady.” 😊

Annie has been running pop-up bookshops for a while now, and recently decided to take the leap into a brick-and-mortar store. (Annie used to own a clothing store, so Chapter Two is not her first gig.)

The shop has books for everyone from babies to adults, plus fun extras like bookmarks, stickers, mugs, and apparel. 🧢

Their Grand Opening (raffles, free books, gifts, and more!) is tomorrow (Saturday, 5/23 ) from 10 AM–2 PM. 🥳

What even is the Main Line?

I’ve had some hard conversations over the years.

Bad stucco. Failed septic systems. A flooded house. A leaking roof. That one back room that smelled aggressively like ci**rs. Carpets with the distinct aroma of cat p*e.

I’ve had to tell buyers that they don’t have the money to get what they want. That the house they’re looking for doesn’t exist, and compromises need to be made.

I’ve had to tell sellers that “let’s price it high and see what happens” is not a strategy. It’s a risk. That rushing to market means the home is not properly prepared for showtime, and it will impact their bottom line. That the neighbor’s house sold for more because it had better decor, better updates, a better lot.

The truth is, buying and selling real estate on the Main Line requires more than someone who can unlock doors and arrange for professional photos.

You need an agent who will tell you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. *Especially* when it’s uncomfortable. Someone who will protect your money, your time, your sanity, and your long-term goals, and not just tell you what you want to hear.

That’s the standard I hold myself to, and my clients expect nothing less.
