MARGARETVILLE - Voices of the past echoed through Margaretville’s Village Hall on Thursday, May 8 as about 50 public officials, village employees, community business owners and history buffs gathered to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the village. On May 8, 1875, papers were officially signed to incorporate the Village of Margaretville. Historic journals and photographs lined walls and sat on tables as guests enjoyed cake and champagne and talked about old times at the celebration.
