Throwback to one of my favorite theme park pictures of all time. It’s crazy to think of all that happened just 5 years ago. We were in uncharted territory in so many different places in our lives- and theme parks were no different. After the world shutdown, Universal Orlando Resort was one of the first to reopen. They reopened while allowing just 10% of the normal park capacity, 6 ft distances in lines, and masks required. While we were a bit nervous, we really couldn’t pass up the opportunity to visit and experience the parks so empty. If you’ve visited these parks, you know that where we are standing is usually VERY crowded. It’s a narrow passage and just easy to clog up. So- having this picture with absolutely NOBODY near us, is just wild.

Not gonna lie… walking into Super Nintendo World at Universal Orlando feels like stepping right into the game. 🔥🎮

Throwback to our first visit to Disney as a family of four, New Years Eve, 2019 (and yes, Grizzly Adams did have a beard). After some significant delays, we strolled into EPCOT to celebrate the end of 2019, looking toward a great 2020. Little did we know how our lives would change just a few short months later- and how grateful we were that we took the trip before the world changed.

This trip taught me that Harper doesn't like big drops, Dylan is a daredevil, I was relatively skinny once, and that you should always TAKE the TRIP, because you never know what tomorrow brings.
