Fly fishing on the stilly north fork. Opening day was September 1st. Just one Brook Trout, not even worth wading back to shore grab my phone from my back pack for a photo. From Arlington about 7 miles towards Oso is open (Only).

The North Fork of the Stillaguamish River was the world's first river to be designated as "fly fishing only" in 1949, an initiative supported by local sportsmen concerned with conservation efforts

Left house 0500 and hiked Heather Lake. The day was foggy/ overcast. The light was tough to get pics at east side of the lake. Still a grat hike, thst can be challaging terrain. Taken 9-2-25

Heather Lake is a popular hiking destination located at the base of Mount Pilchuck in Washington's Cascade Range. The trail, accessible from the Mountain Loop Highway, leads to a scenic alpine lake and is known for being accessible for much of the year.
