đŸ‡ș🇾 This Independence Day, let’s talk about a freedom we rarely celebrate
The freedom to be HEALTHY.

"As ultra processed foods took over our diets and pharmaceutical profits corrupted our healthcare system, this country has lost the most basic of all freedoms, the freedom that comes from being healthy", RFK Jr. Secretary Health and Human Services.

Let’s be honest
Ultra-processed foods rule our plates and the profit-driven healthcare system keeps us sick. Is that truly freedom?
We lost the freedom to feel well.

But we can take it back. As you celebrate this 249th anniversary of independence, join the ongoing MAHA revolution, set a goal. Tell yourself, 'as I celebrate the semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) come next year, I would be completely free'.

Here's how you can achieve that:

1. Reclaim your food power.
Fast food and factory-made snacks are designed to be addictive—but you don’t have to play that game.
-Cook more at home (simple meals count!).
-Shop whole foods and read your ingredients.
-Real food is real rebéllion.

2. Reclaim your health knowledge.
The system won’t teach you how to prevent illness—but you can learn anyway.
-Ask better questions.
-Look for root causes, not just quick fixes.
-And remember—your body wants to heal when given the right tools.

3. Rebuild healthy culture & community.
You can’t fight a broken system alone.
-Share healthy meals.
-Support local wellness leaders.
-Create safe spaces for food, healing, and truth.
That’s how revolutions start.

This 4th of July, don’t just wear red, white, and blue
Take back your freedom.
It starts with what you eat, how you live and what you choose to believe about your body.

What’s really in our food?

The MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) Commission just flágged a bunch of ingredients that show up in everyday snacks, drinks, and even "healthy" stuff. Here’s what to keep an eye out for:

- Artificial colorings & dyes
- Artificial sweeteners
- High fructose corn syrup
- Pesticides
- Preservatives
- Seed oils
- Titanium dioxide (yup, it’s in some candies!)
- Ultra-processed grains, sugars & fats

It’s kind of wıld how much jĆłnk sneaks into our food. Time to start flipping those labels and making smarter picks. Your body will thank you later.

Two major food producers Kraft Heinz and General Mills said they will be removing Artificial Food Dyes from their U.S. products in 2027.

This change comes about 2 months after the US health officials in their agenda to Make America Healthy Again, urge food makers to eliminate petroleum-based artificial colors from their products.

Kraft Heinz said it will be removing artificial dyes from it's U.S. products (under brands like Crystal Light, Kool Aid, Jell-O and Jet Puffed) beginning in 2027. They said they will use natural colors for their products instead. Should be noted that in 2016, they stripped artificial colors, flavors and preservatives from its macaroni and cheese.

In thesame light, General Mills said it plans to remove artificial dyes from all its U.S. cereals and all foods served in K-12 schools by summer of 2026 and from it's full U.S. retail portfolio by the end of 2027.

The question is why give foods containing Artificial dyes to children? According to research, they cause hyperactivity and neurobehavioral (ADHD) issues to some children and have potential cancer risk.

Which food giant is next?

WHAT “LOW-FAT,” “NATURAL,” AND “ORGANIC” REALLY MEAN.

Sounds healthy right? But!!

Low-Fat
-Often means less fat but more sugar or starch added to make it taste good again.
For example Low-fat yogurt often has Double the sugar of "regular" yogurt.
Low fat doesn't mean healthy.

Natural
Looks clean and fresh But!
-In most countries, "natural" has No clear legal meaning/ official rules.
Your "natural" juice could still have artificial flavors, preservatives, added sugars.
But it can't contain synthetic dyes or very obvious chemicals.
Natural doesn't necessarily mean healthy.

Organic
-Organic means the ingredients were grown without synthetic pesticides or GMOs But!
Healthier farming doesn’t always mean low-sugar or low-calorie.
Organic junk food is still junk.

The front of the box is marketing.
The ingredient list is the truth.
